adult education

& formation

The Adult Education and Faith Formation program of any parish should have certain goals in mind.

First, it should assist the parishioners in strengthening their spirituality and their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Secondly, it should afford the people of the parish a resource in the form of the Director to whom they can go with ideas and suggestions for adult faith based programs.

Lastly, programs should encompass those of not only a spiritual nature but of personal enrichment as well. The Director should be kept informed about all Adult faith programs operating in the parish and should work closely with the Pastor to meet the needs of the parishioners.

Looking to Become Catholic or Complete Your Sacraments?
If you or a family member or friend would like to become Catholic or complete the sacraments of initiation there is a warm, welcoming place here at Saint Bartholomew Parish waiting for you.

Through a process called the RCIA/C (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and Children) one can enter into the Catholic faith or receive the sacraments of First Holy Communion and or Confirmation and therefore complete their initiation into the faith. New classes will be forming this Spring.

If you or someone you know is interested in finding out more about the RCIA/C process please call Linda Attanasio at the rectory, 322-5192 ext. 112, or send e-mail to: lattanasio@stbartholomewchurch.org.
